Hi, I am Melissa Daughtry. There are so many things that happen in my life that i can't really explain with my own voice. I write better than I speak.
    I am 15 years old and drive a race car. Specifically, a Jr. Dragster. Legally. I bet your thinking that I'm lying, but I'm not. I also march in the Cook High School Marching Band. I may be about to be on the Cook High School Soccer team. Most of my hobbies are in school. Speaking of school.
     My High School is kind of like the ones on the television series. I've only begun to understand that. Just so you know, I am NOT the most popular girl in school. I'm close to being there and I'm only a freshman. I don't look forward to it. The most popular girl in school is Marley Mathis. She wins everything. She is on the cheerleading team. According to television series, that equals stuck up snob who tries to be friendly and then talk about you behind her back. Marley isn't like that, or atleast from the person I know her to be. From what I know, she is a sweet girl who just happens to be really pretty and you have really good connections and really good friends. She's a senior. I'm a freshman. Just a few more years and I'll be out of High School and going to college to hopefully fulfill my dreams to not follow in my mother'f footsteps and become a writer, a docter, and a professional drag racer. Yes it is alot and will be a lot of responsibility, but if I didn't believe I could do it all, I would just stick with the racing career.
     10:18 p.m. I can't sleep. My mom and dad are in Pensicola, Florida pouring concrete and I am at my meme's house. I might get back on facebook and continue my vampire diaries game, but first I am going to talk about my fasination with books because they are on my mind and people are always asking why I have my nose in a book. One of my favorite things about reading fictional stories is disappearing in the story. You get so captivated by the words that you feel as if you are the main character and you are actually in that world. The books I have read recently all have one thing that I find really cool and odd at the same time. The main character in all the books acts a lot like me. I mean Bella from Twilight is a clumsy person. I can't walk in a hallway without tripping over AIR! She wears converses all of the time. I just got mine and i can tell you now i will be wearing them all of the time. Zoey Redbird from the House of Night Series wants to put her friends safety before her own and is a good influence. That is me in general. Elena Gilbert from the Vampire Diaries has so many thoughts and feelings that she can't express in voice. Well, I'm writing a Journal, too. She is grounded, too. When she sets out to accomplish something, it gets done. Im going to write one book about a character that is more like my best friend instead of me.
